Swardeston are delighted to announce the signing of Lewis Reeder.

Lewis moves to Swardeston from Brooke where he has played for the last two years in the Lacons Brewery Norfolk Alliance Premier Division.

Lewis started his cricket at Topcroft where he spent 10 seasons.

A right-arm bowling all-rounder Lewis is the current Norwich School 1st XI captain. Lewis has represented the Norfolk Cricket Board county age-groups since the age of nine and won the Maurice Sills Boys Player of the Season in 2023 after taking 41 wickets.

Lewis is on the ECB Emerging Players Programme and appeared regularly last season for Norfolk CCC Lions.

In 2022 Lewis was selected for the London and East team which competed at the Bunbury Festival, finishing Runner’s Up.

Swardeston 1st XI captain Lewis Denmark said: “I’m really pleased to get Lewis on board ahead of the 2024 season. He’s been a player that I’ve kept close tabs on over the last few seasons and seen that he has progressed nicely through club cricket and the junior pathway setup. A young seamer bowler with bags of potential, we look forward to seeing him develop further over the coming years and helping the club to achieve success on the pitch.”

Lewis Reeder said: “I’m extremely excited to join Swardeston CC, it’s a big opportunity for me. I want to play at the highest level and I hope I can do this and win trophies with Swardeston.”
