Swardeston earned a 39-run win over Ramsey in their final Anglian Vehicle Linings East Anglian Premier League game of the season, securing a fourth-placed finish.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, Swardeston weathered early setbacks before building a total that proved beyond Ramsey’s reach.
Sagi Rajaguru led the way with 45 from 62 balls, while Oli Longdon made a patient 36.
Their stand steadied the innings after openers Ben Chapman and Peter Lambert departed with only 24 on the board.
Jack Hodgson then struck twice in successive balls to remove Longdon and Jonah Wicks with the score on 94.
Alfie Cooper’s 34 and Matthew Taylor’s 23 helped Swardeston recover from 145 for seven, with Ben France unbeaten on 10 as the visitors reached 218 in 45.1 overs.
Hodgson finished with five for 68 for Ramsey, while Mark Saunders claimed three for 31.
In reply, Sandun Weerakkody struck 66 from 71 balls, including nine fours and a six, but Ramsey slipped from 68 for one to 71 for four as Rajaguru removed Henry Wilson and Mark Saunders during a decisive spell.
Weerakkody’s dismissal at 116 for six left the hosts with too much to do, despite Elliot Cafferkey’s 23 and an unbeaten 24 from TJ Harding.
Rajaguru finished with three for 38, Longdon took three for 39 and France claimed two for 36 before Jonah Wicks bowled Hodgson to complete the victory and seal a 25-point return.
