The Norfolk Cricket Board has announced coaching courses for spring and summer 2023.
As a club, Swardeston is keen to hear from members who would be interested in enrolling on these courses. For some seasons Swardeston has funded these courses to encourage club members to become qualified.
A number of our current coaching team have benefitted from this support in recent years. The club will reimburse the costs once the course has been successfully completed.

ECB Core Coach Course – £300 (Min Age 17)
This course is ideal for either existing coaches (or teachers with existing cricket and coaching experience) who wish to expand their existing technical knowledge. ** Please note – We recommend that candidates with very little teaching, playing or coaching experience should instead take the Foundation Coach course.
Saturdays 11th, 18th and 25th MARCH plus 2nd APRIL 2023 from 10am to 5pm each day.

ECB Foundation Course – £150 (Min Age 17)
This course enables candidates to be able to plan and then deliver safe, fun practical sessions at their club. On passing the course Foundation Coaches will be fully qualified to lead sessions independently.

This programme has been designed to develop a learner’s knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches. Ideal for those just starting out on their coaching journey.
