Ground entry

We have received 200 complimentary tickets. Don’t forget Under-16s have free entry. The Club Trustees are examining ways of allocating these fairly. Club members are encouraged to register their interest for tickets by emailing info@swardestoncc.co.uk. Furthermore, a club benefactor has come forward to underwrite the cost of further tickets if we surpass the 200 figure.

Transport

The club is planning to run coach transport on the day of the final. The coach will leave Swardeston Common and drop passengers off at Lord’s. Timings still being discussed. Ticket price will be £15 per person. Supporters are encouraged to register their interest for a place on the coach by emailing info@swardestoncc.co.uk. Please register interest as soon as possible to ensure we have enough commitment for the coach to run.

Match Day Timings

The match will begin at 11:00am and we will be using a pitch near to the Grand Stand. Teams can access the ground and pavilion from 9:00am and there will be a meeting with the captains at 9:30am in the Committee Room. Team photos will be taken in front of the Pavilion at 10:20am and the toss will take place at 10:30am. Nantwich will be in Dressing Room 1 (the home dressing room) and Swardeston will be in Dressing Room 5 (the away dressing room). The interval will be 40 minutes and at the conclusion of the match the presentations will take place on the Pavilion Concourse with spectators invited to enter the playing area on the outfield.

Spectators

The ground will be open to spectators and each club will receive 200 complimentary tickets.

Ground open from 10:00am, entry fee into Lord’s is set by MCC and for additional spectators the fee for entry is £10 for adults, £5 for Over 65s and Under 16s are free. There will be no parking at Lord’s except for disabled spectators or those with limited mobility.

There will be catering available to spectators in both the Warner and Grand Stand which are the two stands that will be open on the day of the Final.

Please note that due to the demolition work starting for the new Compton and Edrich Stands there may be some noise (at the Nursery end of the Ground), movement around the ground will be restricted and therefore entrance to the ground must be made using the Grace Gates.

Reception

Finally there will be a post-match reception in the Pavilion for the players and guests for up to 40 people per club (including players).

Flags

Each team, if they have one, can have a club flag flown from the Pavilion.
