Swardeston one match away from Lord’s

Swardeston take on Ealing CC this Sunday in the semi-final of the Royal London National Club Championship.

Royal_London_Club_Championship_LogoWinners of the game at The Common will book their place in this year’s final which will take place at Lord’s on Monday 16 September.

The bar and Carol’s Kitchen in the clubhouse will be open all game which starts at 12 noon.

We will be live streaming the game on our My Action Replay streaming service.

The other semi-final in the competition sees Nantwich from Cheshire take on Ormskirk from Lancashire.

Ealing Cricket Club are one of London’s biggest cricket clubs. Running seven senior mens teams from three grounds, Ealing also has a thriving colts section for boys and girls and in 2014 the club introduced a women’s team.

The club was formed in 1871 and have played their home games at Ealing Cricket Club Ground since at least 1874.

The 1st XI play in the Middlesex County Cricket League Premier League, which they have won 11 times, most recently in 2017. They have won the ECB National Club T20 in 2011 and 2015. They have also been runners-up in the ECB National Club Championship on four occasions.
