I am pleased to report that club members unanimously backed the proposed change of the club’s status to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation at the EGM on Thursday 16 March 2017.
A meeting of the club committee this week instructed Leathes Prior to carry out the next steps.
The first step in the process is to register the new CIO with the Charity Commission. This will be handled by Leathes Prior.
