Swardeston have been given a bye in the first round of the 2017 ECB Royal London Club Championship as we attempt to go one better this summer after our national final defeat to South Northumberland in September.
We are in Group 13 with first round games scheduled to take place on April 23 2017.
We will host a home match in the second round when we will take on the winners of the Vauxhall Mallards v Fakenham game. This match will take place on Sunday 14 May 2017.
Other clubs in Group 13 are Brentwood, Bishop’s Stortford, Southend, Cambridge Granta, Great Witchingham, Saffron Walden, Colchester and East Essex, Sawbridgeworth and Frinton.
The national final will be held at Essex CCC on Sunday 17 September.
