Swardeston have reached the last four of the national ECB NatWest Club T20 competition.
We head off to Derbyshire’s County Ground on Tuesday 6 September for finals day to try to repeat our fantastic win in this competition in the 2010 season.
Last week we were reinstated in the 2016 competition after our last round victors were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player.
We made the trip down to Radlett in Hertfordshire on Sunday and Mark Thomas and his team put in a great performance to win by eight wickets.
We restricted Radlett to 123-7 from their 20 overs with Tom Oxley, Mathew Taylor and Mark Thomas each claiming two wickets.
In reply after losing Peter Lambert early, Jordy Taylor made 35 before Steve Gray (46 not out) and Joe Gatting (31 not out) saw us home in style in just 13.5 overs.
On finals day we will be joined by Tunbridge Wells CC, of Kent, Sandiacre CC, from Derbyshire and Bramhall CC, from Cheshire.
Details will be published as we get them.
