Girls manager Katie Treutler reports: “I am delighted to be taking part in a masterclass with England 1st XI player Lydia Greenway, who to date has an impressive 12-year-long playing career.
“Left-handed bat, bowling right-arm offbreak, Lydia took part in the England Women’s ODI tour in New Zealand in February, winning the series 3-2.
“Lydia is coming to Brooke for the Masterclass on 5 May. Very much looking forward to this and taking a few of the girls along to take part in the sessions.
“An amazing opportunity for the juniors, as well as myself and it just shows that starting something totally new, like cricket for girls and for me can lead you to take part in something as good as this.”
