Swardeston’s Sunday XI have been confirmed champions of the Mid Norfolk Sunday Cricket League’s Premier division, despite slipping to defeat against Sprowston at Hilltops.
The 2010 season saw Swardeston remain unbeaten in the league until the last weekend in July, and as such have one hand on the title with over a month of the season remaining.
Earlier in the season, Swardeston reached the final of the Challenge Cup, but finished runners-up to a very strong Vauxhall Mallards side.
