Steve Cadge was named the Swardeston A XI Sunday player of the year for a summer which saw him score 481 runs at an average of over 40.
Cadge recorded a top score of 111 in the 113 run win over Sprowston. He also made another ton, hitting 110 against Anglians.
The trophy for the most outstanding performance of the year was awarded to Will Rist for his explosive Carter Cup innings against Great Witchingham.
Rist scored an amazing 231 not out from 172 balls in the 1st round match which Swardeston won by 135 runs.
Rist struck 39 fours and one six and shattered the club’s individual batting record previously held by club captain Peter Thomas.
