Club Captain Peter Thomas picked up the prestigious Norfolk Alliance Club of the Year trophy for 2009 at the Norfolk Alliance annual presentation night at Swardeston Social Club on Friday.
The award decided by points awarded by opposing captains and umpires for several categories, including on-field behaviour and off-field facilities, is a fantastic achievement for the club as it covers all three sides that compete in the competition.
After picking up the award Peter said “It’s a superb accolade and a great honour for not only my side but those captained by Neil Taylor and Neil Bridgstock.”
Under 15 captain Robbie Bridgstock also received the Andy Seeley Under 15 Trophy and pennant.
