More than 230 guests attended the 22nd staging of Swardeston’s annual stag dinner.
Middlesex captain Shaun Udal was the guest speaker and supported by comedian Nick Alexander.
They heard Udal talk about his pride in becoming Middlesex skipper one year after finishing with Hampshire. He also talked about his 20-year wait to make his England Test debut and the excitement of leading Middlesex in the two 20-20 competitions being held in West Indies and India over the coming weeks.
The dinner was sponsored by Brewin Dolphin and took place in a marquee on Swardeston’s main ground at The Common.
