And they’re off – the race night finally got under way after a delayed start in part to all three teams having late finishes. This didn’t seem to dampen enthusiasm as a good majority of the club turned out in support.
With tickets sold and race cards in hand it was up to George Walker to lead the evening’s proceedings.
There were eight races in total for those that managed it till the end, with some good prizes given away.

A good night was had by all and thank you for those that attended with nearly £1000 raised to go towards the club.
Thanks also goes to Christine who donated her prize of two hours Karaoke to her son Mark which was used last Saturday at Sing Sing down Prince of Wales road.
Also thanks to those that donated bottles of champagne for the winning owners.
