Swardeston 1st team wicketkeeper Will Rist is spending his winter at the Brendon Bracewell Cricket Academy in New Zealand.
Will writes: “Things are going extremely well over here thank you. I made a good start with the bat and scored a couple of 50s and a few 40s.
“I impressed the local selectors and got in to the Wairarapa province team as a keeper/batsmen. I’ve been keeping quite well for them in the Hawke cup, but haven’t yet proved myself for them with the bat.”
“I have a few more games for them in January before the pronvincial league ends and it’s back to the club tournaments.”
