Barbeque sizzles with more than 80 guests

More than 80 people attended the club’s annual summer barbecue on Saturday 23 July.

Another successful event organised by social secretary Rob Colman who paid tribute to his group of helpers.

“Thanks must go to Ginny Bailey and her mother Sue for doing most of the food. Also thanks to John Bobbin, the Bartrams and the Taylors for providing salads and raffle prizes,” said Rob.

He added: “I would also like to thank Mark Thomas and Tony Bailey for helping to sell the tickets and chairman Mark Taylor and Bure Valley Foods for providing the meat.

“We also must not forget Andy Hogg and Ed Kelly for manning the barbecue and Ben and Matt Hogg for selling the raffle tickets.”
