Swardeston left-arm spinner George Walker, now in his second season with Leicestershire, has been enjoying a fruitful spell during the last month as the Foxes 2nd XI have won their last four games.
In the seven-wicket win over Northants 2nds at Milton Keynes in early July, George returned figures of 1-35 in a tight spell.
In the next game at Hinkley against Warwickshire 2nds, George claimed 3-26 in his 10 overs as Leics won by 13 runs against a side that contained Dominic Ostler and Trevor Penney.
In the next game against Middlesex 2nds, Leics won by three wickets. Batting first the visitors totalled 255-9 with George returning the impressive figures of 5-35 in his 10 overs.
Earlier in the season, George had taken three wickets in the home game against Derbyshire 2nds.
