Congratulations to our Under-16 team which finished their campaign this week and ended up second in the the Norfolk Cricket Board’s Under-16 Indoor competition.
The team was a joint one made up of players from Swardeston CEYMS and our partners Saxlingham CC.
It was a great effort for their first season and they only lost out to a strong, experienced Hethersett and Tas Valley side in the standings.
The competition was played at Langley (former Taverham Hall) Sports Hall and the team was managed by Chris Blincoe from Saxlingham. Big thanks to Chris.
The squad featured Rikin Rajeshkumar (c), Oli Longdon, Grace Spratt, Alex Roach, Alex Purling, Sam Blincoe and Olly Banthorpe.
