Plans are being finalised for Swardeston’s race night which will take place this year on Saturday 16 June.
Organiser George Walker says tickets will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-12s. Tickets will include a Chilli meal (vegetarian option available), served between 7 and 9pm.
First race will be at 8pm. Games on that day are: 1st XI away to Great Witchingham, 2nd XI home to Thetford, 3rd XI home to Acle A, Swardeston CEYMS away to Great Melton A.
There will be six races with eight horses in each. Club members will be invited before each race to purchase a horse with a prize awarded to the winning owner. Also individual betting will take place on the horses.
Races are all sponsored, with many prizes to be won and a fun evening guaranteed.
