The Common, Swardeston
The Common is the club’s oldest ground with the club having played there since the late 1960s, after moving from the former pitch based at Mulbarton Common.
Situated in the heart of the village, it is host to most of the club’s senior cricket with both Thurlow Nunn East Anglian Premier League and Lacons Brewery Norfolk Cricket Alliance matches being played there.
Renowned as a superb batting wicket, The Common at one stage held the one-day Minor Counties scoring record following a game between Norfolk and Lincolnshire in the 1980s.

Hilltops, Swardeston
Hilltops, which is owned by CEYMS, is home to Swardeston CEYMS and Swardeston CEYMS A on Saturdays.
Situated on the main road from Norwich into the village, the ground began hosting Swardeston fixtures in 2001 when the club lostĀ useĀ of the Lakenham cricket ground in Norwich – home to the county side – where it had played it’s EAPL games since the formation of the competition in 1999.
Due to the support of CEYMS, the ground now boasts a superb triple-bay practice net which was installed during early 2003 and updated in 2015.
