On Sunday 28 August we will be hosting the biggest home game in the club’s history when we take on Weybridge from Surrey in the semi-final of the Royal London Club Cricket Championship.

We are expecting there to be a large number of spectators for our semi-final and the club committee is on the lookout for volunteers from the club to help on the day.

Weybridge play in the Surrey Championship and visit The Common after beating Havant in the previous round.

We booked our spot in the last four by beating High Wycombe last time out.

In the other semi-final on the same day South Northumberland will play Ormskirk with the final taking place at Northamptonshire CCC on Sunday 18 September.

A steering group for the match has been set up under club captain Peter Thomas and includes Stuart Bartram, Sarah Brennand, Carol Cooper and Pete Chambers.

If you could spare the club some time to help on the day this would be much appreciated. We are looking for volunteers of all ages. The game will start at 12pm.

Please email Stuart Bartram on stuart.bartram@brandexinsight.co.uk to register your interest.
