The under 13s went down valiantly at Acle in the ECB under 13 final tonight.
Fielding 5 under 11s, we restricted Acle to 105 for 8 off 20 overs but fell 13 short, scoring 92 for 7 in reply.
Tom Bartrum took 2 wickets. All the bowlers used bowled tidily. Tom Bailon scored a quick fire 27 before being well caught in the deep. Elliot Fox and Tom Bailey scored 15 each but we were unable to re create the same impetus once Tom Bailon was out.
This was an enjoyable game and a good learning experience for all against a good team. Good luck to Acle in the next round and thanks for their excellent hospitality.
