Record breaking Abraham wins performance of the year

The trophy for the most outstanding performance of the year was awarded to Joel Abraham for his record breaking double hundred against Clacton in the East Anglian Premier League.

Abraham scored an amazing 221 not out from just 145 balls, hitting 26 fours and 6 sixes.

Jordy Taylor was named the Sunday team player of the year after enjoying a successful season with the bat, scoring 396 runs and four half centuries.

Jason Reynolds was the latest winner of the Neville Herathge Trophy for the outstanding youth player of the year. Reynolds, 15, started the season in the Swardeston CEYMS team but his impressive displays saw him finish playing in the 2nd XI.

He captained Swardeston’s Under 15s to victory in the Andy Seeley trophy as well as the Norfolk Under 15 competition, leading Swardeston all the way to the last 16 of the National stage. More recently, he has been invited to attend the Northants Centre Of Excellence.
