More than 90 annual dinner guests saw Jaden Hatwell named as Swardeston’s premier team player of the year.
The Kiwi all-rounder topped the club’s East Anglian Premier League batting averages, scoring 937 runs at an average of 55.12. Hatwell also claimed 34 wickets.
Teenager Jordy Taylor was named the 2nd XI player of the year after the 18-year-old topped the team’s batting averages, scoring 420 league runs with an average of 38.18 and a top score of 94 not out.
All rounder Kevin Cooper picked up the honours for the A XI for scoring 409 league runs at an average of over 58. Cooper’s top score of 98 not out came in the draw with Downham A.
The Swardeston CEYMS player of the year trophy was shared by the whole team as captain Neil Bridgstock elected to reward the entire promotion winning squad for their 2010 efforts. Ollie Kennard did the honours and picked up the award on behalf of his team mates.
