Carter Cup champions Swardeston face a testing tie against East Anglian Premier League rivals Great Witchingham when they begin the defence of their crown next season.
Swardeston were drawn away to Witchingham in Monday’s draw, while this year’s runners-up, Horsford, are at home to Norfolk Alliance newcomers Great Melton.
Nine-times champions Vauxhall Mallards are at home to Mattishall, while competition newcomers Hales and Hethersett & Tas Valley have both been drawn at home, to face Bradenham and Bradfield respectively.
The draw was made at Monday’s annual meeting, where a proposal to reduce the first round of the competition from 60 overs to 50 was rejected.
