Proud day for our Club President Peter Thomas last week as he was awarded his British Empire Medal from The Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk Lady Dannatt.
Peter was awarded the BEM for grassroots cricket in the 2020 New Year’s Honours List. The ceremony took place at The Norfolk Club.
Peter was accompanied by his wife Carol and lifelong friend Robert Wood and his wife Christine. Robert compiled and prepared the submission for Peter’s award after spending many hours talking to club officials and family members in secret.
