The sun came down on a fantastic season of Tuesday night youth training with Swardeston’s first-ever youth presentation evening.
Medals and trophies, kindly provided by our main club sponsor Leathes Prior, were handed out in front of the clubhouse on Tuesday 18 July 2017.
Swardeston youth co-ordinator Jason Reynolds introduced the awards and club professional Joe Gatting carried out the honours by handing out medallions to all who had attended.
Age group managers then picked their players of the year in two categories and presented trophies to the winners.
Jason paid tribute to the team of coaches and helpers who had made sure the weekly sessions had run smoothly. The youth training sessions ran across 14 weeks and were regularly attended by more than 100 youngsters at The Common and Hilltops.
