Swardeston began their defence of the Norfolk Twenty20 competition tonight with a 96-run win over Hethersett & Tas Valley.
Swardeston made 192-5 in their 20 overs, with Peter Lambert top scoring with 57.
Freddie Ruffell hit 38 and other main contruibutors were Steve Gray 24 not out, Lewis Denmark 23 and Jerry Elliot 20.
In reply Hethersett & TV were restricted to 96-6 with Michael Eccles taking three wickets.

Swardeston are next in action on Thursday 2 June against Brooke and then again on Wednesday 29 June v Norwich.
