We are delighted that hard work carried out by Ben Chapman over the summer has been acknowledged by the Norfolk Cricket Board.

Ben has been shortlisted in the final three of the Game Changer category of the 2021 NCB Grassroots Cricket Awards after being nominated by the club.

The Game Changer award looks to honour young volunteers aged between 17 and 25 who have made a difference in the game.

Ben has been invited to Wensum Valley Golf Club on 27 October 2021 for an evening hosted by the Norfolk Cricket Board to celebrate his achievement.

The Grassroots Cricket Awards (formerly NatWest OSCAs) are aimed at recognising those volunteers who give their time to the game of cricket – without these individuals the game would not survive.

The England and Wales Cricket Board, alongside the wider cricket community, are recognising a record-breaking 20,000 volunteers this year to celebrate the people that make our game happen.

In total, over 42,000 volunteers have helped their local clubs and communities to play more cricket and get more people involved in the game than ever before.
